Sorry for the extra 411 this week, but we have two very important events that you cannot miss out on! If you are thinking about joining ASU at the ABC Conference this year at UCR, you must attend the UCLA delegation workshop session tomorrow from 7-8pm in the ASU Office. Also, this Friday is the Bunchy Carter & John Huggins annual memorial. Read more about it below.

CARTER/HUGGINS MEMORIAL  

This Friday, Feb. 5 2010 4-8pm in Campbell Hall
 
is the Bunchy Carter & John Huggins Memorial.

In 1969 two men were murdered inside of UCLA's Campbell Hall. Please join the Afrikan Student Union & AAP to commemorate the lives & legacies of these two former Black Bruins.

There will be a series of teach-ins, workshops, spoken words, and monologues by former Black Panthers, Community Leaders, individuals related to the slain Bruins, & many more. Come & bring a friend!

plus FREE FOOD.

ADMIT WEEKEND WORKSHOP
This Thursday, 2/4/10, we will be hosting our FINAL session I meeting. If you want to attend ABC and did not go to the meeting last Thursday you MUST come to this meeting.

It will be in Kerkoff 322 (ASU office) from 7-8p. Please be on time so we can finish on time. Also keep in mind there are only 26 spots left and they will be assigned on a first come first serve basis.

There will be a $5 fee to attend the conference that MUST be turned in at this meeting in order to be on the delegation list.
